UNHINGED: Woke Coeur D’Alene City Councilman Goes On Tirade Calling A Room Full Of Elderly Republican Women “White Supremacists”

Where Can I Get A Copy Of “How To Spot A Toxic Narcissist: For Dummies?”

(Coeur d’Alene, Idaho) — A local race for city council has begun to heat up, following an outburst from liberal Coeur d’Alene City Councilman Dan Gookin at a luncheon hosted by the Kootenai County Republican Women Federated.

Coeur d’Alene, a picturesque lake town situated in the overwhelmingly conservative Republican panhandle of North Idaho, has a surprisingly liberal City Council.

Up for re-election this year is Pride in the Park Sponsor and Communist Fist yeasayer Dan English:

Then we have the ex-cop with a Karen attitude (codename Sgt. Cupcake) who used her connections with the ADL & SPLC to nuke North Idaho College’s accreditation, after conservative trustees fired the far-left president of the college, Rick McLennan, for imposing mask mandates.

And then there’s Dan Gookin.

This guy called Christian Prayer before Coeur d’Alene City Council Meetings “Three minutes of wasted time.”

Back in 2013, Dan spearheaded an ordinance that forced a christian wedding chapel to close down.

They subsequently sued the city (at taxpayer expense because of Dan) and have re-opened their chapel.

Dan also participated in the mobbing of a North Idaho College meeting along with English and Wood last December, when the meeting was interrupted after a left-wing extremist pulled a fire alarm.

Now, Dan has really done himself in by going on an unhinged tirade at a forum hosted by the Kootenai County Women Republican.

Dan, after years of berating his fellow Republicans on YouTube, was graciously invited to speak to the Women Republican Federated at the Best Western at their monthly luncheon.

Gookin was first asked by Conservative Activist Nina Beesley:

So you have a lot of, um, ‘rants’ online and in one of those rants you said that the mothers and the women at the library that were reading the sexually explicit material into the record were getting off on reading that information. And so you said a lot of other things on your rants that were derogatory towards Christians, towards Republicans, towards a lot of people in our community. And my question for you is how do you reconcile that with yourself? How do you reconcile that with the community, the public? Because a lot of the things that you say up here is quite different from a lot of those things that you're saying on the ‘rants.’”

Gookin gave a non-answer and dodged the question, avoiding the question, and avoiding the disgusting things he said about concerned parents who were reading passages of explicit books into the record in an attempt to pass legislation restricting these books.

Gookin was then asked a heartfelt question from Republican Precinct Committeeman Janice Camarena.

For those of you who may not know, Janice is the amazing woman whose grand-daughter was groomed by a sick counselor at Northwest Expedition School into believing that she was really a boy back in 2021.

And then, as if that wasn’t enough, this past May, Janice was sued by the incumbent library trustees for writing a letter to her constituents that told the truth about the smut in the libraries.

Of course those allegations would be dismissed, if the case ever goes to court. As of today, the defendants in that case have still not been served.

Janice said:

”…Your private life is actually a big part of your public life because it's part of your character. So I'm gonna say that first before I ask you my question because it is also about your ‘Rants.’

“As you know, I'm part of the, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, which you are also on. On your rants you have called us a white supremacists, nutjobs, puppets, racist, and many more mean things. I take that very personally.

“I grew up in a very racist, abusive home and was adopted by a Hispanic family. I fell in love with and married a dark-skinned man and have interracial children. And for you to say that I am a racist, or that I would be on the committee, or friends with people that are racist is […] Not only boils my blood, but it is the most despicable thing.

“Another thing you say is that we are puppets. If you would come to the meetings on the committee that you are on, which you don't, you don't even do the basic job on the committee, which is going and walking your precinct. [Those of] us on the committee, have to take your role and walk your precinct because you don't even do that. You are on a committee that you don't go to the meetings to. If you did go to the meetings, you would know that Brent facilitates the meetings.

“I would not be on a committee where somebody told me how to vote. I joined the committee because my son gave his life to this country. And I want to honor his sacrifice and fight for the country that he died for. And the country today is not the country that my son died for. And for you to say that we are nothing but white supremacists on that group and that we are puppets […]

“So my question to you is: how do you expect us to believe anything that you say when you so blatantly lie about a committee that you pretend to be on?”

At this point, Gookin became visibly agitated, and began angrily pointing at the crowd, accusing various elderly women of supporting “white supremacy.”

One of the volunteers at the event, Terri Seymour, took his microphone away after he began disparaging the hosts of the event.

Magnanimously, the president of the Kootenai County Republican Women Federated, Davalu Cummings, insisted that Gookin be given the rest of his time.

Gookin then angrliy snatched the microphone out of Terri’s hand and continued calling the Women Republican “white supremacists” before angrily stomping off and slamming the door behind him.

This is the exact opposite of what is needed on Coeur d’Alene City Council.

We need a leader who is empathetic, not narcissistic.

Someone who can listen to others, instead of only doing what is best for himself.

Someone who wants to do the right thing, not the thing that will get the most attention.

We need people who stand behind the Republican Party and who the Republican Party stands behind. That’s why we’re standing behind Clark Albritton, Brian Winkler and Roger Garlock, the conservative Republicans for Coeur d’Alene City Council.
