North Idaho Library Cancels Membership With ALA After Conservative Takeover

This Is Why Liberals Hate The KCRCC — They Get Stuff Done.

(Kootenai County, Idaho) — Following an intense election season earlier this year in the Spring, conservative KCRCC recommended candidates Tom Hanley and Tim Plass were elected to the Library Board of Trustees.

Now, with a conservative majority on the board, the Library Network is no longer raising taxes, and recently has severed ties with the controversial American Library Association due to the costs associated with affiliation.

A press release from the Library Board States:

“Today, the Board of Trustees of the Community Library Network (CLN) of Kootenai and Shoshone Counties in North Idaho approved a resolution disassociating CLN from the American Library Association and its affiliates. After several meetings debating and modifying the wording of the resolution, a majority agreed and passed the resolution on September 21st and released it today after review by legal counsel. The resolution, which removes any CLN association with ALA and its affiliates, takes effect immediately. It requires that no CLN monies be used for any ALA memberships, training, informational services, materials, events, promotions, or campaigns sponsored by ALA or its affiliates.”

This comes just a few months following the Idaho Freedom Caucus’ Call for Idaho Libraries to voluntarily disaffiliate with the Marxist organization.

Now that the Community Library Network is no longer affiliated with the ALA, they no longer will be brow beaten into buying disgusting books for “Banned Book Week.”

This is why local liberals are afraid of the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee, and have been lashing out against conservative volunteers.

Conservatives have figured out that by working together, REAL CHANGE becomes possible. This is why the liberal establishment is attacking and trying to discredit the KCRCC. Not because they’re “extremists” - because they are effective.

Keep all of this in mind on November 7th when you head to the polls. Find out who else the local Republican Party is recommending for office.
