North Idaho College Board Cures Open Meeting Violations, Takes Action on Accreditation, Hires Interim President — Liberals Leave Meeting in Shame

“Liberals: Just Take The L And Go Home.”

The December 21st North Idaho College Board of Trustees meeting was lacking in liberal disruptions, compared to what we witnessed at the out-of-control December 10th meeting, but thanks to a change of venue and assistance from the previously absent Coeur d’Alene Police, the board was finally able to get to work.

The evening began with a “completely organic,” “student led protest” that was, as far as we can tell, organized by Christa Hazel and the “Friends of NIC.”

The students left after only a few minutes, leaving behind the real protestors; a bunch of elderly liberals.

Elderly, angry, elitist liberals like Mike Gridley.

Mike Gridley, who continually harassed board members at the December 10th meeting, recently sued NIC for alleged open meeting violations. Gridley, ironically, is the founder of CDA 2030; a secretive, non-profit, taxpayer-funded organization, that was ostensibly designed to skirt open meetings laws in Idaho.

The meeting began with public comment, which was mostly comprised of liberal students and Democrats shedding crocodile tears about the accreditation debacle, which as everyone now knows, was a highly politicized attack on the newly elected Conservative leadership, perpetrated by a group of entrenched elitist liberals like Christie Wood.

Gridley even took a turn at the mic to “offer his services” to the board, by serving as both their advisor and attorney.

How power hungry and disingenuous can one man be?

But then, everything changed. A Cd’A resident, and alumni of North Idaho College named Howard Kuhns took the mic.

Where have I seen this guy before?

Here is what Mr. Kuhns had to say:

I support Banducci, McKenzie and Waggoner. They’re Conservatives. What do I mean by that? They fear God, they respect the law, and they have good moral and family values. I know them. They’re good people.

There was a lot of questionable things that happened under that appointed board. I don’t have all the inside information but I trust that you guys do, and I trust you to act accordingly.

A lot of people came to that last meeting they had grown-up bodies, but they acted like two year-olds, throwing tantrums. Who are these people that want to “Save NIC?” They weren’t mad at the entire board, they were just mad at the Conservatives.

In other words they’re Zimmerman’s people. They’re Corkill’s people. I’ll go a step further, and say that they’re Cristie Wood’s people. They’d welcome her back on this board in a minute.

This is the true legacy of her years on the board. A contingent of people whom she has led to hate conservative values and conservative people.

They embrace, diversity, equity, and inclusion, which is another way of saying racism, Socialism and sexual perversion.

They’re woke, they’re intolerant of anybody who doesn’t agree with them and they’ll cancel you if they can.

There is even a criminal element, as witnessed by the fire alarms that went off.

I have this to say to trustees Banducci, McKenzie, Wagner… The only reason Corkill and Zimmerman are on this board…

Kuhns’ mic got cut off, because liberals kept booing him for telling the truth, but sources at the event last night, who were within earshot of Mr. Kuhns, have told our reporters that he said “The only reason Corkill and Zimmerman are on this board,” is “because of deceptive campaigning.”

This is a clear reference to the phony sample ballots that were designed to look almost identical to the Official KCRCC Sample Ballot, as well as giant billboards that said “Vote Conservative” while listing the liberal candidates.

Everything he said is true.

Following public comment, the board got to work.

They cured any possible open meetings violations that may have taken place at previous meetings of the new board, effectively nullifying Mike Gridley’s lawsuit.

The board reaffirmed its decision to put the president, Nick Swayne, who was hired by an appointed, illegitimate, crony board, on administrative leave.

They hired a new, highly qualified, interim president: Gregory South.

The board took definitive action to revise its policies and procedures in accordance with the wishes of the NWCCU, by arranging for trustee training, and looking into the possibility of hiring an expert to consult the board on governance.

And, the board voted to allow the new president to explore options in the athletics department.

Corkill and Zimmerman had nothing to add to the boards conversation, outside of bringing up the accreditation scare, continually deflecting, abstaining and voting no, on any motions that didn’t have to do with accreditation. They sounded like a broken record, incapable of tackling the diverse issues that need to be resolved at the college.

I highly doubt they would be capable of walking and chewing gum at the same time.

One by one, as each resolution was passed, the liberals began hanging their heads low, knowing the accreditation ruse hadn’t worked, and that the trustees were determined to fight for real improvement at the College.

Nobody pulled any fire alarms.

But the usual suspects were careful to hide their faces, like Christie Wood, bundled up in her white hat.

All in all, it was a great meeting of the new North Idaho College Board of Trustees, and conservative citizens across the state are thankful for Chair McKenzie’s leadership, and are hopeful for the future of the college.

Editor’s Note: If Mr. Kuhns would like to submit a letter to the editor, with the full statement he intended to make at last night’s board meeting, we invite him to do so by clicking here.

The same goes for anyone who feels as though the local Press has deliberately left you out of the conversation and ignored your voice, because you are a conservative.
