KCRCC Hires Harmeet Dhillon As Legal Counsel In The Face Of “Vexatious, Baseless” Lawsuits — Dhillon “Looking Forward” To Working With Local Republicans

It’s Time To Bring In The Big Guns.

(Coeur d’Alene, Idaho) — In the midst of a political landscape marked with the threat of violence, political intimidation, and confusion, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee (KCRCC) has done what seemed to be impossible. Six years ago, 4,323 people voted in the 2017 election for Community Library Network Trustees, a mere 5.67% of the population. This year, 42.9% of the population, a grand total total of 44,576 people hit the polls in an all-time-high for voter engagement in our county thanks not only to the hard work of the KCRCC, but the dozens of other grassroots conservative groups that have sprung up across the county.

While other Republican Central Committees around the state bicker, and fight amongst themselves, the KCRCC has unified, worked together, and turned into a political machine that recruits, vetts, and helps true Conservative candidates win elections that Republicans around the state, and across America, have lost.

The result of the KCRCC’s efforts was the recent replacement of long time Library Trustees Judy Meyer and Regina McCrea, with Tim Plass and Tom Hanley; grassroots Conservatives who have Christian values, and will govern for the people, instead of for the political establishment and deep-pocketed powerbrokers.

The KCRCC’s audacious success has disrupted the established political order, threatening the grip of those who were once considered untouchable. Fearful of losing their influence and control, opponents have resorted to a barrage of legal challenges, aiming to stifle the party's growth and muzzle the voices of its supporters.

In 2020, following a groundbreaking victory at North Idaho College, “Save NIC” founder Christa Hazel and John Goedde threatened KCRCC backed NIC Trustee Michael Barnes with a lawsuit if he didn’t resign immediately.

In 2022, a local independent journalist and KCRCC volunteer named Summer Bushnell was sued by a Drag Queen after she posted video of his disgusting “performance” for children at the 2022 Pride in the Park event.

Earlier this year, long time city prosecutor Mike Gridley and NIC’s deep-state President Nick Swayne have launched lawsuits against the Conservative trustees at NIC, in an effort to tie their hands, and prevent them from effectively governing the college.

Most recently, just days before the May 16th election, Library Trustee incumbents Meyer and McCrea filed a baseless lawsuit against a disabled KCRCC Precicint Committeewoman who lost her son to injuries he sustained fighting terrorism in Afghanistan.

This frivilous lawsuit has had a chilling effect on free-speech, and was seemingly designed to strike fear into any Conservative in the county who would dare to speak up and tell the truth about the inappropriate materials being peddled to children in our libraries and our schools.

At their Tuesday evening meeting, KCRCC Chair Brent Regan has finally said “enough is enough,” and announced that the local party has retained the nationally renowned Harmeet K. Dhillon as their legal counsel. The room erupted with thunderous applause and cheers.

Harmeet K. Dhillon, a legal luminary and passionate advocate for constitutional rights, brings a wealth of experience and a reputation for fearlessly defending conservative principles. Dhillon’s clients are a who’s-who of conservative activists, whistleblowers and elected officials.

After serving as clerk for Judge Paul Niemeyer in the 4th circuit court of appeals, Dhillon went on to work for the ACLU before starting her own star-studded law firm in 2006.

In 2017, Dhillon reperesented Google whistleblower James Damore who was fired due to the corporations anti-conservative bias.

In 2019, she took independent journalist Andy Ngo on as a client, after he was brutally beaten and attacked by Antifa thugs in Portland.

In 2020 Dhillon got the call from President Donald J. Trump, and signed on as legal counsel for his 2020 election campaign.

And, just 3 months ago, Dhillon teamed up with Chloe Cole, an activist against the mutilation and “gender-transitioning” of children, to sue Kaiser Permanente for child genital mutilation.

Speaking exclusively the Idaho Tribune, Dhillon said that she is “Looking forward to helping the KCRCC advance liberty in Idaho.”

KCRCC Chair Brent Regan said “these vexatious and frivolous lawsuits have served as an inoculation that has strengthened our committee, brought us together, and with Harmeet Dhillon in our corner, we are now stronger than ever.”

Regan’s message to the liberal establishment? “Bring it on!”

“We will not let these vexatious lawsuits detract from our Party’s primary mission, which is to engage local republicans and drive voter engagement. Over the past 4 years, voter turnout at the polls has quadrupled. There are people in this county that want to suppress that engagement, by attacking our freedom of speech, and striking fear into area conservatives. They want to put conservatives back to sleep, and we won’t let that happen.”

Dhillon’s arrival within the ranks of the KCRCC serves as a rallying cry for local grassroots conservatives, and has breathed new energy in to the Republican Party, giving activists and elected officials a newfound strength and determination to boldly speak the truth, without fear of retribution from the political establishment.
