North Idaho College Appeals Swayne’s Injunction - Documents Reveal Employees Believe The College Was Right To Put Swayne on Leave

On Friday March 17th, North Idaho College filed an appeal against President Nick Swayne, claiming that the court had no legal right to bypass NIC policy, arguing that Swaynes Case Is “Unlikely to Prevail on the Merits” arguing that the board had the right to do so.

The testimony also alleges that Nick Swayne lied under oath about the potential cost of sports at NIC if the college was to switch leagues.

There’s a lot of testimony here, and most of it speaks for itself.

There’s a reason the Coeur d’Alene Press hasn’t mentioned this new development in the court case brought against North Idaho College by President Nick Swayne. It’s because it makes Swayne look not only incompetent, but as though he is willfully lying under oath, attempting to cover up his own actions, and creating a rift between the College’s administration and the Board.

The Press’ selective and biased reporting on the situation is bad enough as it is; don’t get us started on the activist Judge Cynthia Meyer. According to many people in the community with a background in law, it appears as though Judge Meyer is acting in a partisan way, for the benefit of groups like Save NIC, with complete and total disregard to the lawful authority that the College Board of Trustees and their ability to control the President’s contract. So far, Judge Meyer appears to be doing nothing less than undermining the governance and authority of the NIC Trustees.

Please read these documents for yourselves before the Press starts to spin their narrative:
