Man Arrested in Coeur d’Alene After Threatening Facebook Posts Target Metal Band “Silent Theory” — ‘Chris Neff’ Held on $1,000,000 Bail

A man was arrested in Coeur d’Alene late Friday after making threatening Facebook posts targeting a concert venue in Montana.

The suspect, Christopher Neff, barricaded himself inside a residence, requiring SWAT teams to be dispatched.

The targeted venue was set to hold a concert for the metal band Silent theory, a group which the suspect had previously worked for. Neff was the lead actor in the band’s hit music video titled “Fragile Minds” wherein an individual appears to be on the verge of a mental breakdown.

The group, Silent Theory, which was the target of the threatening Facebook posts, has canceled their event as a precautionary measure.

Neff’s social media is littered with videos of himself brandishing firearms while playing voicemails FBI agents had previously left him.

The suspect was charged and is being held on $1,000,000 bail.
