LAWSUIT: Kellogg Bus Driver Sues School For Civil Rights Violations After Being Fired For Attending Graduation Protest

He’s Gonna Teach This School An Expensive Lession.

(Kellogg, Idaho) — After banning a student from graduation for saying “guys are guys, girls are girls, there is no in between,” a bus driver named Dakota Mailloux joined in a student-led protest, and as a result was summarily fired by the pro-transgender administration at Kellogg School District.

Now, that bus driver has filed a lawsuit against the School District in Federal Court for violating his civil rights.

Dakota Mailloux joined in a student-led peaceful protest held at Kellogg High School on June 1st, 2023 during his own free time, and was immediately called by the district transportation director, Cory North, and fired for expressing his freedom of speech.

Mailloux recorded the whole interaction. You can listen to his unlawful firing below, or click here.

Mailloux recounted what happened to him in an interview with Idaho Freedom Foundation’s president, Wayne Hoffman:

The administration was caught lying to residents about why Travis Lohr was prevented from attending graduation, after a voicemail that was sent to Lohr’s mother surfaced online.

The lawsuit names District Superintendent Lance Pearson, Transportation Director Cory North, and the District as a whole as defendants, and Mailloux is seeking compensation and relief for damages he sustained because of the District’s un-constitutional actions.

Many were calling for action to be taken against the School District for their un-just punishment of Travis Lohr and bus driver Dakota Mailloux. Sean Davis, the founder of The Federalist magazine said:

“They need to do more than protest. They need to sue the school and every official involved personally. Sue them into oblivion. This isn’t just illegal. It’s insane.”

Now, thanks to Dakota Mailloux and his lawyer Kate Hartley of the Pacific Justice Institute, the School District and the Radical Leftists in charge of it, are going be taught a valuable, expsensive, lesson about the United States Constitution.

God Bless you Dakota! The people of North Idaho stand behind you, and support you!
