Idaho Governor Brad Little Has “significant Concerns” with Pro-Life Abortion Bill, Calling it “Unconstitutional and Unwise”

Republicans aren’t What They Used to Be

Idaho’s Republican governor, Brad Little, has expressed “significant concerns” regarding a pro-life bill that would restrict abortion access throughout Idaho. The bill, which Little claims to be “unconstitutional and unwise,” was signed into law, while many allege the governor had only done so to boost his chances at re-election.

“Ultimately,” Brad Little wrote, “this legislation risks retraumatizing victims” who seek abortion after instances of rape.

Similarly, Jennifer M. Allen, the chief executive of Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates, echoed Idaho governor Brad Little’s words, also calling the law “unconstitutional” adding “There is no excuse or justification for the trauma” this law would allegedly cause.

Statistically, less than 1% of all abortion involves a woman who had been impregnated as a result of rape. Brad Little’s argument is that victims of rape, who account for less than 1% of all abortion, are somehow “retraumatized” by this pro-life law, therefore, somehow rendering the law immoral.

Data suggests that after the state of Texas recently passed similar pro-life legislation, abortion dropped by nearly 60% in the state.

Idaho, having passed similar laws, should also see a drastic decline in the grotesque practice, something the bill was designed to accomplish.

Conservative Idahoans are rejecting Brad Little’s governorship. Little, who spent the last 2 years locking down businesses and encouraging Idahoans to “mask up” and “get vaccinated,” is now admitting to having concerns over pro-life legislation, which he allegedly signed for political expediency.

There is a reason Democrats are switching parties to vote for Brad Little in this years primary election, and it isn’t because they’ve had a change of heart. Democrats view brad little as an ineffective Republican, one who will continue to help Idaho on it’s path toward Californication.
