CORRUPTION: Leaked NIC Security Report “Positively Identifies” Teresa Borrenpohl In Fire Alarm Incident — Prosecutor Declines Charges

“I’d Do It Again, Too”

Over the weekend, the Idaho Tribune was anonymously sent a copy of the North Idaho College Security Report, detailing the Fire Alarm incident at NIC on December 10, 2022.

Up until now, this report has been hidden from the public due to an “ongoing investigation.”

The Security Report reads as follows:

North Idaho College Campus Security
Incident Report
Campus IR # 22-063
Incident Type: Fire alarm pull station activation
Police Report # Pending
Date/Time Reported: December 10, 2022 at 1527 hours
Incident location: Student Union Building second story Corridor 201B pull station.

NARRATIVE:
On December 10th 2022 I was assigned to assist Campus Security Supervisor Stuart Wagner with a safety standby at the North Idaho College Board of Trustees meeting taking place in the Student Union Building, second story, Lake Coeur d’Alene room.

Prior to the meeting commencing I was standing in the common area between Corridor 201B and Corridor 201A observing members of the public as they entered the board meeting. I observed a female who I could positively identify at Teresa Borrenpohl exit the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room from the South West hallway door. She initially looked down the hallway at eye level. I observed her head tilt up and her attention appear to towards the roof of the commons area followed by looking back down the hallway toward her location at the roof level. Borrenpohl turned her body to her right and looked at the exit door and fire alarm pull station before reentering into the Lake Coeur d’Alene room. I was able to positively identify Borrenpohl from my many past interactions with her when she worked at North Idaho College.

Prior to the beginning to the meeting I repositioned myself the left of the Board of Trustees in the front right corner of the room and staged the exit door to Corridor 201 for an escape route for the Board if needed. From my position I could clearly see the main entrance doors to the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room, that were still propped open, the common area outside the doors and the area around the restrooms at the east end of the common area.

Borrenpohl was seated in the front row, nearly directly in front of my position, where I had an unobstructed view of her.

As the meeting commenced Borrenpohl was the chief instigator urging the crowd to join their line of people who had stood up near the podium where, if it was going to be allowed, there would be public statements made.

Borrenpohl continued to make loud statements as certain members of the Board would speak and at one-point Borrenpohl led the crowd in a loud chant “let us speak”. The chant only lasted a short period. At 3:27 pm I observed Borrenpohl get up from her seat and briskly walk out of the Lake Coeur d’Alene Room. Borrenpohl exited the southernmost main entrance door, went around the table and made a right turn appearing to going door Corridor 201B. I did not observe any other person walk in the direction of Corridor 201B. Approximately 15 seconds later the audible and visual fire alarms began to ring.

Security Supervisor Wagner and I began to evacuate the Lake Coeur d’Alene room that was filled to or beyond capacity with members of the public, NIC staff, and Board members.

Upon review of security footage, a person exits the board room at 3:27:17 and appears to turn right. They do not show back up on camera near the stairwell and a person matching Borrenpohl does not exit the building down the stairwell or elevator. At 3:28:13 on Sub-02b-Int-Lobby, the figure is seen crossing from the north to the south, where we later located fresh shoe prints, in the upper right window. Campus Security Office Laupp photographed the footsteps. The same figure that is positively identified as Borrenpohl is seen crossing in front of the Lee Hall Annex at 3:28:47. Borrenpohl walks behind Lee Hall to the south of Lee Hall, through the parking lot and around the front of Lee Hall and the Gym before re-entering the group of people who had been evacuated from the Student Union Building.

A second fire alarm that later went off has been determined to be set off in error by maintenance crews as they attempted to reset the first fire alarm.

Report is requested to be forward to Coeur d’Alene Police School Resource Officer, Detective Gus Wessel, for further follow up and exportation of video clips associated.

Borrenpohl on her way back to rejoin the crowd after allegedly pulling NIC Fire Alarm.

Based on the security report, we have been able to identify the route that the woman identified as Borrenpohl took.

Borrenpohl allegedly got up from her seat, walked down corridor 201B, pulled the fire alarm, walked down the emergency exit stairs, and then walked the long way around the buildings, and rejoined the angry crowd of evacuated leftists in front of the Edminster Student Union building.

According to newly obtained footage, Borrenpohl then approached NIC Chair, Greg McKenzie, proudly proclaiming “In America we appreciate Freedom of Speech.” Mckenzie Reiterated his question asking, “Just to be clear, in America you’re advocating pulling fire alarms to disrupt public meetings?” Borrenpohl did not answer the question, instead going on an unhinged rant.

At 9:57 AM, on Monday, February 13th, Randall Adams, the Director of Legal Services for the City of Coeur d’Alene confirmed that he is declining prosecution in the case, despite the evidence that clearly points to one identifiable culprit.

Many members of the Coeur d’Alene community believe that this is more proof that the Coeur d’Alene Police Department and Prosecutors office is corrupt.

During the “Pride in the Park” event last year which was sponsored by the North Idaho Pride Alliance, Police arrested Christian Street Preachers, and took photos of Drag Queens posing with Children.

The Prosecutors office also declined to prosecute the alleged “wardrobe malfunction” that took place on stage at the event.

Now, it appears as though a former Coeur d’Alene Police officer may be using her influence to protect her friends from being prosecuted for their illegal, politically charged actions.

We have reached out to Randall Adams, the Coeur d’Alene city attorney, but have not yet heard back.
