Coeur D’Alene Celebrates as Controversial Anti-Trump Editor, Mike Patrick, Leaves Position at CDA Press — Will the Paper’s Reputation Recover?

Managing editor of the CDA Press, Mike Patrick, is leaving his position with the paper and moving to Florida just weeks after multiple unearthed videos stirred public outcry towards local media in Coeur d’Alene.

In one of the videos, Mike Patrick can be heard claiming there is no need for the CDA Press to remain transparent, while shouting expletive language towards local residents.

Local residents of Coeur D’Alene have felt increasingly under attack by the CDA Press due to liberal reporting in the majority conservative community.

Unearthed footage of the CDA Press managing editor, Mike Patrick, speaking with local Democrats display unhinged comments toward President Donald J Trump as the editor claims he would leave the country if Trump were elected.

While Coeur d’Alene’s population is majority conservative, the local media remains proudly liberal, leaving many to assume outside funding—rather than subscriptions—keeps the lights on at the CDA Press.

Mike Patrick, while speaking with Democrats, was also caught on camera explaining that he views the local Republican Committee chair as his “arch enemy".

The question now is will the CDA Press fix its reputations as liberal propaganda within a conservative town? Or will they push ahead and continue to bleed subscribers?
