Sara Brady was arrested for taking her children to play in the park during Idaho governor Brad Little’s COVID lockdown mandates. Over two years later, she has accrued over $30,000 in legal fees, and continues to request a pardon from the governor, a request he repeatedly denies.

Recently, a man confronted the governor about Sara Brady’s case, asking why the Little refused to pardon the mother. Little responded by saying “I don’t pardon people.”

The governor has, however, pardoned people. In 2019 Brad Little made headlines after he pardoned two people who were convicted with Delivery of a Controlled Substance. “The goal of the criminal justice system is to punish the crime and rehabilitate offenders,” says Little.

Unlike those pardoned by Governor Little, Sara Brady was not delivering controlled substances, she was arrested for disobeying Brad Little’s COVID lockdown mandates while at the playground with her children.

The disregard for Sara Brady’s case from the governor of Idaho has come as a shock to many Idaho voters, who have subsequently become vocal opponents of the incumbents’ run for governor.

Brad Little has campaigned on the lie that he never implemented any mandates related to COVID, when he locked the state down, shuttering businesses and churches. Little coerced Idahoans to get the vaccine with numerous promotional videos, and he implored everyone to “mask up.”
