Federal Government Set to Ignore State Abortion Laws — Could Perform Abortions on Military Property Against State Law
In a response to the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe V. Wade, the Pentagon, as well as the Department of Justice have issued statements claiming federal agencies will defy state law concerning abortion.
BREAKING: The Pentagon has stated that any abortion laws enacted as a result of the Supreme Court's decision will not be recognized.

In a statement posted by the DOJ, it is asserted that “federal agencies may continue to provide reproductive health services to the extent authorized by federal law. And federal employees who carry out their duties by providing such services must be allowed to do so free from the threat of liability.”
The DOJ continues, claiming that “states generally may not impose criminal or civil liability on federal employees who perform their duties in a manner authorized by federal law.”
Similarly, secretary of defense, Lloyd J. Austin with the DOD, said “The Department is examining this decision closely and evaluating our policies to ensure we continue to provide seamless access to reproductive health care as permitted by federal law.”

It would appear that the federal government is now directly opposing state abortion law, which could end in a situation where state authorities arrest federal employees who kill an unborn child.
