The race for governor of Idaho would have been a quiet one if not for the effort of the Independent conservative candidate, Ammon Bundy, with his dominating ground-game and highly produced, captivating online advertisements.

Given the voter demographics in Idaho, the governor hopeful has a narrow pathway to victory: could he pull off the political upset of the century?

It all started with the Idaho Republican Governor primary race, where conservatives backed Janice McGeachin, a seemingly aloof candidate marred by political gaffes and less-than-spectacular appearances on FOX News’ Tucker Carlson.

Leading up to McGeachin’s primary election, a video appearance at the America First (AFPAC) event sent polling numbers tumbling by up to 10 points, sealing her fate, and ensuing the incumbent candidate, Brad Little, would win his bid for Idaho’s Republican primary.

Brad Little spent his money during his primary season, producing stereotypical advertisements, playing it safe with talk of the economy, education, and the surplus.

Little would have floated along to victory if not for the 11th hour media blitz by Independent Candidate, Ammon Bundy.

Ammon Bundy has spent the last 6 weeks hitting the road, making nightly appearances across the state, filling banquet Halls and Churches with his platform of cutting taxes, protecting children, and declaring life begins at conception.

The gubernatorial candidate has made appearances on national talk shows, and captivated the nation, garnering millions of views on his campaign advertisements flouting a textbook conservative platform.

Brad Little has used his time actually lying to Idahoans with the claim he “kept Idaho open” during the COVID scare. This, of course, is not true.

The Bundy campaign seized on the opportunity to remind Idaho what Brad Little did during the COVID scare, locking down Idaho, coercing the public to get vaccinated, arresting Christian preachers and mothers at the park, and accepting billions of dollars from the federal government.

The Governor’s false claim that he kept Idaho open was further exhausted after it was announced he would be sending Idahoans a “tax rebate,” The tax rebate comes directly off of the billions in federal government COVID pay the state received after the emergency declaration was made.

All of this was compiled into video form, as the evidence of the lockdowns can still be seen for those being prosecuted by the state, and for the business owners who lost their livelihoods due to shut-down mandates.

Brad Littles go-to response for controversy? Silence.

Idaho has seen an uptick in extreme-left incidents involving children and public displays of vulgarity. This past year, numerous events involving children gained national attention as provocative and sexualized dancing on stage involving children caused lawmakers to sound the alarm.

Brad Little, however, expectedly remained silent, quietly accepting donations from there same companies funding the LGBT events.

In contrast, Ammon Bundy took the issue head-on, campaigning on ending child-involved provocations from the LGBT community.

The Bundy campaign has skillfully captivated the nation, diverting that energy towards an otherwise off-the-radar election against a governor who couldn’t be bothered. The only question remaining: are Idahoans going to put their trust in a Republican governor who locked them down in exchange for federal subsidies? or are they going to vote for a man who’s track record shows he is willing to do what is right.
